As part of a wider business strategy, Parcelhub, the leading provider of bespoke multi-carrier delivery management, tracking support and fulfilment solutions, are working towards integrating with every major Order Management System (OMS).
Parcelhub’s in-house, UK-based software development team has constructed a direct integration with cloud-based order management system, Linnworks, empowering retailers, brands and wholesalers with access to seamless multi-carrier integration and proactive tracking support.
Multi-channel eCommerce platform Linnworks connects and automates all the different processes associated with online selling, from one centralised location. With more than 4,000 clients worldwide, Linnworks is the latest addition to the Parcelhub integration suite. As with other integrations, it will shorten customers’ label production to a few clicks of a mouse, while retaining full control over every shipment.
Chris Knowlson (below, right), Software Engineer at Parcelhub, was heavily involved with developing this integration: “Parcelhub’s new Linnworks shipping integration has been designed with ease of use in mind. With this new integration, merchants will be able to handle their shipment processing and label printing from within Linnworks. Once a user selects a postal service method linked to the Parcelhub integration, when printing a label, Linnworks will create the shipment via the Parcelhub API and produce the label. You can also cancel labels directly from within Linnworks. Tracking information is processed into the Linnworks environment.”
Mark Rosenberg, Managing Director at Parcelhub added: “Parcelhub continues to set the innovation agenda in the enterprise carrier management space, and since our acquisition by the Whistl Group earlier this year, we will continue to invest in our parcel technology and customer services offerings. Not only do mid-market retailers benefit from bespoke delivery management solutions, they are increasingly outsourcing their customer support operations with us.
“Merchants powered by Linnworks will now be able to save time with Parcelhub’s accelerated label production and access a single interface to 20+ carriers and 600+ services. Furthermore, online sellers can save money by deploying user-friendly software and exercising collaborative buying power, unifying a broad and tailored range of carrier services into a single invoice.
“By accessing Parcelhub from the Linnworks Application Store, merchants can now enhance their customers’ delivery experience with our innovative SMART Notifications platform, which identifies carrier-specific sequences of scan events that might lead to delivery problems such as bad address events, meanwhile Parcelhub’s in-house, Nottingham-based customer services team proactively rectifies issues before they develop.”
Andrew Thomson, Partnership Manager at Linnworks added: “We’re delighted to be adding an integration with Parcelhub to the Linnworks Application Store and in turn providing our customers with an even broader range of delivery options. The team at Parcelhub have worked incredibly hard to develop this integration and we look forward to working closely with them in 2019”.
